This table is best known for its funk shape, which allows the user to be more creative in creating different layouts within the lecture space.
If you are looking to up grade from rectangular desks to something for group work but still be slightly traditional
Height Adjustable Lectern
Lecturers who need to stand in the front to present a subject, have a space to lecture from, while having their laptop with them and added items on the shelve.
The height adjustable nature then allows the person to drop the table to a student heigh and interact with different groups by wheeling the lectern to where it is needed.
